Supporting Mental Health Needs Together
The years of college can be among the most exciting and gratifying of a person’s life. However, college students can experience significant amounts of stress, confusion, and uncertainty. At times, students may need additional support and encouragement. The Counseling Center is here to help students through resolving psychosocial issues, enhancing their personal growth, and strengthening their academic skills and performance. We are also working to support the university-wide commitment to prevent and respond to sexual assaults and expand the campus community’s understanding of the unique mental health issues faced by college students.
We provide the following services at no charge to all degree-seeking undergraduate, graduate and online students:
- Individual counseling on campus
- Online counseling with a clinician of your choice
- Group counseling
- Anonymous online mental health screenings
- Sexual assault prevention and response
- Consultation
- Outreach services
Our on-campus clinicians are available during regular business hours and on-call after hours, and our online services–powered by Resilient U–are accessible anywhere, anytime.
Resilient U
An extension of the Counseling Center, “Resilient U” is an all-encompassing wellness platform that consists of a 24/7/365 support line and the “Headspace” app. Resilient U is free to all matriculated undergraduate & graduate students.
The on-campus Counseling Center and Resilient U are both free to all degree-seeking undergraduate, graduate and online students. Resilient U, in partnership with Uwill, offers:
- Free 24/7/365 emotional support line at 833-646-1526
- 3 free telehealth appointments. Students with a cultural, racial, linguistic or other need will be matched within a diverse network of clinicians.
- Free subscription to the “Headspace” meditation app
